Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
APSUE is doing great work in the community. Just recently APSUE made a financial contribution to the Henry Johnson Memorial Fund. Henry Johnson was an "esteemed war hero" that was not given the honor during his lifetime due to the racial climate in the United States, at the time of his service. To honor his life and legacy June 5th will be designated as Sergeant Henry Johnson day.
APSUE's contribution and contributions from other community members raised over $20,000.00 to improve our local Henry Johnson Memorials. Attached is the letter of thanks from the Mayor's office.
